Takir Residence

3–8 June

TAKIR is a Franco-Moroccan artist with roots in the graffiti movement, who now divides his time between Paris and Medellín, where he is also artistic director of the Medellín Street Art Festival.

His work explores the perception of space through geometric structures, visual labyrinths and optical illusions, transforming walls into gateways between the real and the imaginary.

For this residency, he is presenting two murals inspired by the architecture and landscape of the Château de Candes, combining anamorphosis, trompe-l’œil and impossible perspectives.

An immersive approach that invites the viewer to lose themselves in fictional spaces, where construction, movement and illusion intertwine.
